Cardiovascular Surgery in Children or heart surgery in children is done to repair heart imperfection which a child might be born with as in the case of a “congenital heart defects” or a heart diseases a child gets after birth. In both situations, a surgical procedure is required. The surgery is needed for the child’s safety.

- Hemodynamics, which might require any of the following:

- Closure of Collaterals vessels
- Aorto Pulmonary and Coronary Fistulas (shunts) , which might require any of the following:
- Closure of ductus arteriosus
- Coarctation of the Aorta (COAO)

- Arrhythmia, which might require any of the following:
- Pacemaker Programming
- Pacemakers Consultation
- Modes: unicameral and bicameral
- Program pacemaker
