Cardiovascular Surgery In Children

Cardiovascular Surgery in Children or heart surgery in children is done to repair heart imperfection which a child might be born with as in the case of a “congenital heart defects” or a heart diseases a child gets after birth. In both situations, a surgical procedure is required. The surgery is needed for the child’s safety.

  • Left Ventricular Outflow Tract Obstruction Program
  • Valvular plasties Program
  • Vascular Substitutions Program
  • Double outlet right ventricle (DORV) Program
  • Cardiac tumor surgery Program
  • Fontan Surgery Program
  • Mustard Surgery Program
  • Aortopulmonary septal defect
  • Total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (Supracardiac) supracardiac
  • Total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (Supracardiac) Cardiac

NON-COMPLEX OPEN SURGERIES, WHICH MIGHT REQUIRE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES:

  • Closure of atrial septal defect (ASD)
  • Closure of ventricular septal defect (VSD)
  • Hemodynamics, which might require any of the following:
  • Close atrial septal defect (ASD)
  • Closure of ventricular septal defect (VSD)
  • Closure of Collaterals vessels
  • Aorto Pulmonary and Coronary Fistulas (shunts) , which might require any of the following:
  • Closure of ductus arteriosus
  • Coarctation of the Aorta (COAO)
  • Valvuloplasties
  • Arrhythmia, which might require any of the following:
  • Pacemaker Programming
  • Pacemakers Consultation
  • Modes: unicameral and bicameral
  • Program pacemaker
  • Programming (DAI)
  • Arrhythmia Consultation
